Abstract:
The Therapy Lens project aims to revolutionise home-based care for dementia patients through the use of augmented reality. Patients wear the Microsoft HoloLens headset at home and the Therapy Lens app provides support by guiding patients through real activities of daily living and by offering a series of AR games designed to improve these daily tasks.
A related project called "animaTINO", led by master students from the Center for Digital Technology and Management at TUM, will also be presented in a short business-style pitch.
