Learning is an error-driven process. It requires processing of feedback in combination with internally generated predictions. Based on EEG- correlates of this post-trial error processing, we estimate the relevance of different information components (efference copy visual, kinesthetic) for motor learning in a throwing task. In a second line of experiments, we study the effects of cognitive-motor dual-task training on learning. We observe specific effects of an additional cognitive task on motor learning but also effects of the motor-task on improvements in the cognitive task.
