Abstract:
The first speaker of our forthcoming seminar series on "Light" will be Professor Tom Baden from the University of Sussex. Prof. Baden is an international leader in the field of retinal biology, employing fish, cephlapods, birds and rodents to explore the cells and circuits that underlie visual processing. His excellence has been recognised by numerous awards including an ERC starting grant, the Eppendorf Prize, the Lister Prize for Preventive Medicine and he is currently a Wellcome Trust Investigator.
