Abstract:
This talk introduces the concept of the neuroscience fun and argues for its scientific legitimacy. As an example of this approach, Dr. Ishiyama presents his latest studies showing 1) neuronal representation of playful emotions in rat anterior insula during tickling play and 2) comparative analysis on tickling and conspecific play in tame mice and hamsters, highlighting the importance of studying this overlooked aspect of neuroscience.
