Abstract:
An overview of a series of studies investigating the effect of head trauma (i.e., concussions, repetitive head impacts, and post-concussion syndrome) on postural control. The majority of the related studies investigate cognitive function; however, functional abilities are also critical for health related quality of life. This presentation will provide a summary of our research investigating single-task, dual-task, and transitional movements in individuals who have experienced head trauma.
