Titel: Maps in the Visual Brain: Visual Attention and Eye movements


Summary:
Using data obtained from single-unit recordings in behaving monkeys, as well as human psychophysics, I will present a series of vignettes highlighting aspects of visual representations in area LIP, attentional dynamics in area MT and what slow eye movements tell us about perceptual decision-making. Time permitting, I will also present some ongoing work on visual search.
