Abstract:
Synaptic plasticity is widely believed to be crucial for learning and memory. Hence for both technological as well as scientific purposes it is of interest to build quantitative models of plasticity to suggest experiments, to find common themes, and to explore the effect of plasticity on the network level.
We will present a number of recent developments in synaptic plasticity modelling including a model for schema formation and the functional consequences of presynaptic vs postsynaptically expressed plasticity. Registration Link: |
