On the 10th he will give a workshop:
Probabilistic models of neural computation
I will review models of probabilistic inference in neural circuits using probabilitistic population codes.
I’ll show how this circuits can be used to perform near optimal multisensory integration, decision making and function approximations, and I’ll present experimental evidence supporting these particular solutions.
I do expect students to have basic knowledge in probability theory.
